“Elyeo” and “Rencho” are both not-so-authentic pronunciations of the names of the species. The Elyeo call themselves Elyath, and the Rencho call themselves Vrenjo.

…But that’s not the most interesting thing going on here, is it?

Aw, thank you ^^ I’m always feeling the limitations of my current skill level and wanting to be freed of them, though… namely wonky anatomy and perspective. But working on the comic will be good practice. Just gotta supplement it with a healthy dose of life drawing (gaaah, I need to stop putting THAT off!).

Yep, that’s what most people assume in-universe: a girl walking around in a boy’s cloths.

Oh, she is a he? Now I feel stupid, because I just assumed they were calling him a boyish girl previously. Well played.

Yeah I have a bad habit I of thinking people who look like girls are :( it leads to some confusion…

It’s probably impossible to never experience misunderstandings. Just gotta do our best to be respectful!
