Alright! The titular speech bubble! Can’t wait to turn the page.

Looking back, I think titling the comic after the titular location was a good choice because it ties right into this chapter, where the characters establish their initial goals. It might not be the catchiest title out there, and it’s too bad that it took me this long to clarify the goals, but hey.

Im titillated by this.

Btw, the environments are gorgeously done, in particular the colorful vegetation – I love the trees , leaves, the lighting, godrays and all at the page top.
Could have written this any other page. So consider it a summarizing comment. :)

Thank you! I’m actually not all that satisfied with the way I depict foliage, but then again, will I ever be satisfied with anything I make?

Even so, I’m happy that this comic is giving me plenty of opportunity to draw nature. I’m kind of not looking forward to drawing city scenes… I do love drawing architecture and busy lives, but I’m just so slow at it! I guess the only way to get faster is more practice, though.

That foliage is incredible, that must have required such patience. The colors, the shape, the way the light hits the leaves — it’s all perfect. Not to mention the rest of the page, gorgeous as always.

Thank you ^^ I need to start getting better at depicting different types of trees, though. So far I have ‘pine tree’ and ‘generic tree.’ Maybe ‘generic tree B’ in addition to that, and that’s just not enough, given the importance of plants in this story.

Poor Danbi, they all ask for him and he never knows when they will!
