Also, what type of brushes do you use for this? I’m testing digital art out, and I’m trying to see what brushes go together and what don’t.

The most common one I use is the regular hard round brush, with opacity and size set to pressure. The other two I use almost as often are 1) same regular hard round brush, except squished to a thin oval; and 2) very similar to the hard round brush, but the tail end is fuzzy instead of hard. I use a lot of soft pressure.

Cool! I’m not going to do it–I just wanted to see how artists get that pretty flowy look.

Hana, Hana, could you *be* any cuter?
On a -partial- re-read (again..) and I love how ‘familiarity’ with parts of the story sort of free-my-mind-up to look better, and discover things previously un-noticed.
I ADORE the contrast between ‘tiny’ Hana and ‘huge’ Ethan as he is carries her. Reminds me of ‘tiny’ Ethan and his ‘huge’ gandfather!
But I just noticed, A D O R E D (squealed a little..) how Hana is keeping herself occupied up there: the way she plays with his hair…

And now -might be slightly *spoilery*…?- since it’s Hana and hair, I’m looking forward to her, being annoyed, however reluctantly, hugging a braid?

You have been spoiled by growing up in a world of cars and planes. Always remember that sailing around Cape Horn used to be a perfectly reasonable way to get across North America, because overland travel is the worst.
