That wraps up the chapter. I’ll be taking a break next week, and chapter 17 will begin the week after that. It will be a very interesting chapter for sure…!

I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying Heart of Keol! I only found it yesterday because I remembered reading Haru Sari a long, long, long time ago, but I couldn’t remember what the name of the comic was! I re-read that, and then I found out you’re now doing this comic!
As sad as I will be that I will never know what the ending of Haru-Sari was going to be, I am thoroughly enjoying HoK!
I know Lushaka isn’t all that he seems, but he seems to have a good heart, so I think he’s my favourite character so far :3
I don’t know if someone has asked it elsewhere, but do humans (or visitors from the Red Gate) get any “special abilities” in Keol? Or do they do anything naturally that would be considered some kind of “magic” to the residents of Keol? I guess Ethan’s size probably seems like a weird mutant superpower already to the native Keolians huh :p

To sort of answer your question, there’s going to be a lot of focus on Red Gate visitors in Act II. Which isn’t too far in the future, since Act I only has two more chapters to go (17 and 18). Act II has some of my favorite scenes ever, and I’m really pumped (as well as nervous) for it!
