That first panel was a lot of fun to paint! But not a very fun moment for our characters…

Yeah… I mean his hair will grow back, but that won’t change how much potential danger he faces simply by existing. :(

I’m glad it was fun to paint, the result is wonderful. The light effect is perfect…
So, Danbi and the king are two of a kind, aren’t they?

Danbi doesn’t have floppy ears, but yeah, if he wants to avoid getting attention in a world where people can have their freedom taken away for being 100% of a certain race, maybe disguise is the way to go for someone that even has just some of that race’s characteristics.

Though, the alternative thought would be “wait, the one the most like me is a king, so becoming known as what I am could potentially give me a lot of influence, which I can use to try to change public perceptions and solve some of this country’s problems!! 8U”

Ooooh, that lighting in the first panel is absolutely beautiful! You have no idea how happy I was to discover that you have an official website AND that had uploaded more chapters on it (I binged all the chapters on Webtoon in one sitting, went to sleep, and now I’m here!)

Ahh … Hair cutting … In a way exactly what they’re trying to avoid in the first place, at least with the niece. :^( funny how often the steps ppl take to avoid oppression end up mirroring the very same thing.
