Woooh – the anticipation… I can’t wait to see Danbi and his mother reunited! They’re *sooo* close now…
Maybe she has insights on his recent transformation?
A perfect time for a -partial- re-read, to refresh my memory on all the backstory….!

Not that that’s a bad thing, probabely just time consuming!
I tend to get ‘stuck’ every now and then, admiring one of the beautiful pages :-)
That is: all your pages are beautiful – but some of them are absolutely g o r g e o u s !!!!

Just following the adage ‘compliments where compliments are due’ ;-)
Which happens to be the very reason some comics -like yours- have recently ‘forced’ me out of ‘lurking’.
And v e r y glad to be of service! Something s h o u l d make someones (every ones) day e v e r y day, especially in these crazy times!

Have not done a real re-read yet! But I usually go back a handfull of pages, to get back in the flow of the story-arc.

Oh! About *flow* – I just h a v e to:
I absolutely l o o o v e those pages, where the border-less panels *flow*, transitioning (the background) into one ‘continuous’ painting. Woow!
You know, like the one where the boys swim together trough the cave, under water? My god, that page (and pages like that) !!
I can keep staring at that page. Makes me wish for an upright monitor, a really really long one – to see it full-size without scrolling…
Not *just* the ‘flow’ there, the water, the light, the angles and anatomy, your handling – scratch that, your m a s t e r y in handling – the shortening effect on the different angles of anatomy of the boys swimming! I *am* swimming – with them, so cine-matic..
Even the utter…. s e x y -ness of the page…?
Oops – full disclosure – having develloped a massive crush on Ethan ever since his page 1..!
Just giggled a little, remembering the ever-so-slight-dissapointment (!), when first looking at that page. Only in the second image is it visually clear -even though Lu hasn’t- Ethan kept his shorts on…
Gods, not only am I rambling -I’ll stop and see myself out- I’m totally embaressing myself, never to be taken sereously in coments ever again :-)

I’m really glad you enjoyed that page. I put a lot of hours into it, as well as a lot of love beyond the hours! The shimmering lights, and how being underwater muffles the sounds, making it feel like you’re away from the rest of the world. In the middle of the very stressful situation they were in, they got to experience one beautiful moment, just the two of them away from the rest of the world. I wanted to capture that.

I was sure I ‘earned’ dis-respect, for such a *lude* comment :-)
In earnest, though, however much I would like them to experience such underwater-moments forever and ever, where would that leave ‘our’ story?
Their story – we can’t leave Danbi’s…
The future king-consort (???..! haha hmmm).
If -after all is solved- Ethan (still wants to and finds) a way back to the ‘real’ world, he’ll be taking Lu with him, disguised as a kitten, won’t he?
